Cheer on Beach Volleyball in their final home matches this weekend!
Join No. 7 Texas Beach Volleyball this Friday and Saturday as they host the Lone Star Invitational at the Wright-Whitaker Sports Complex (UT Intramural Fields).  This will be the Longhorns’ final home matches of the 2025 season and include nationally ranked matchups versus No. 6 Cal Poly and No. 17 North Florida.  Bring the Texas Fight all weekend long and cheer on the Horns as they prepare for the 2025 CCSA Championships!
All matches are FREE admission and the 1st 75 fans on Saturday will receive a FREE seat cushion at the entrance beginning at 11 a.m.! In addition, Bevo XV will be available for photo ops on Saturday at approximately 11:15 a.m.
Texas Beach Volleyball home matches are played at the Wright-Whitaker Sports Complex located at 4901 Guadalupe St.
Parking is complimentary in the lot west of the main entrance off Guadalupe Street courtesy of Texas Athletics.
Bleacher seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis on the courts and fans may also stand in designated standing room only areas on the perimeter of the courts.
Food trucks will be available on-site for food and beverage options.
The Texas Longhorns Official Team Shop will be open for all Texas matches.
Dual meet matches are formatted in five best-of-three sets, pairs matches, with each pairs match being worth one point (similar to tennis singles). Each pairs match is won by the team that wins two sets. Each set is played first to 21 points (instead of 25 for indoor), and a team must win by at least two points. If the sets are tied 1-1, the decisive third set is played to 15, where the winner must again win by at least two points. Beach volleyball uses rally scoring, which gives both teams — whether serving or not — a chance to score points on each given rally.
A clear bag policy is in effect to enhance existing security measures and expedite venue entry at the Wright-Whitaker Sports Complex.
