For Clemson to reach its championship ceiling in 2024, it starts with Cade Klubnik. The third-year quarterback enters the summer as the unquestioned leader of the offense—and Dabo Swinney likes what he’s seen.
“He’s been really businesslike all spring,” Swinney said. “Just about the work.”Klubnik’s spring game wasn’t flawless. An early interception on the opening drive raised some eyebrows, but Swinney isn’t sweating it.

“Mistakes are part of it. That’s why we have spring ball,” Swinney said. “He’s grown in his pocket presence, timing, and command of the offense.”
