Each year, just 15 men’s basketball players from across NCAA Division I are selected to the Academic All-America team. That’s 15 out of thousands. These are athletes who maintain high GPAs (usually 3.5 or above), make significant contributions to their teams on the court, and are deeply involved in their schools or communities.
So yeah — being named to this list is a big deal.
