He was the No. 13 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Georgia and was a key piece into rebuilding Philadelphia’s defensive line with young talent. The team drafted his college teammate Jalen Carter a year later and Carter has emerged as one of the best defensive tackles in the game.
As a member of the Class of 2018, Davis was a three-star recruit out of Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 15 overall prospect in the state, the No. 39 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 406 overall prospect in the class.
