The latest football commit for the Georgia Bulldogs received a short message from a highly-touted star following his college decision. On Wednesday, that commit returned the favor.
Bulldogs five-star quarterback Jared Curtis delivered a short but strong message to fellow top recruit and offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell on Instagram.
“Let’s do it,” wrote Curtis in an Instagram story post with a picture of both of them. Curtis also tagged Cantwell in the post.
The quarterback’s three-word message to the offensive tackle came two days after Curtis announced committing to Georgia. Curtis chose the Bulldogs over the Oregon Ducks.
Curtis’ message shouldn’t come as a major surprise. The quarterback told On3’s Hayes Fawcett that he planned to help Georgia in recruiting if he could.
Just like Curtis, Cantwell is down to the Bulldogs and Ducks as the final two schools in his recruitment. The offensive tackle is expected to announce his final decision on May 13.
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Cantwell and Curtis are the top two prospects in the 2026 class. Cantwell is the No. 1 overall prospect and consensus top offensive tackle. Meanwhile, Curtis is the No. 2 overall recruit and top-rated signal-caller.
Spoke with Jared Curtis earlier & he’s eager to take on a recruiting role as Georgia’s leader for the ‘26 Class
When asked who he is targeting most, none other than Five-Star Plus+ OT Jackson Cantwell
Wednesday wasn’t the first time the quarterback and offensive tackle have exchanged pleasantries on social media. Shortly after Curtis announced his decision to commit to Georgia, Cantwell delivered a short congratulatory message to the quarterback.
“Congratulations, Jared Curtis,” posted Cantwell, who used Curtis’ handle as his name.
The Cowboys confirmed Wednesday that they acquired Pickens and a 2027 sixth-round pick from Pittsburgh in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-rounder.
