How many South Carolina players have signed as NFL undrafted free agents? A full list
Five South Carolina football players were selected in the seven-round draft, beginning with Nick Emmanwori with the No. 35 overall pick in the second round, followed by TJ Sanders (No. 41), Demetrius Knight Jr. (No. 49), Kyle Kennard (No. 125) and Tonka Hemingway (No. 135).
This draft marked the first time in South Carolina history that five players have been drafted in the first four rounds of the NFL draft and a program record for the most defensive players taken in one draft.
Now, for the remaining players who still aspire to make NFL rosters, they can begin getting signed by teams undrafted free agents.

O’Donnell Fortune, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound cornerback is signing with the New York Giants, according to South Carolina’s social media. He had his best college season in 2024 with 41 solo tackles, one forced fumble, three passes defended and three interceptions.
Gage Larvadain signs with the Cleveland Browns
Wide receiver Gage Larvadain signed with the Cleveland Browns according to his Instagram. He spent two seasons at Southeastern Louisiana, two at Miami Ohio then one with the Gamecocks, where he recorded 19 catches for 223 yards and a touchdown.
Alex Huntley signs with the Miami Dolphins
Defensive tackle Alex Huntley is signing with the Miami Dolphins, according to his social media. The 6-3, 303-pound player spent five seasons with the Gamecocks and logged nine tackles and one sack in 2024.
Torricelli Simpkins III signs with the New Orleans Saints
Offensive linemen Torricelli Simpkins III is signing with the Saints, according to his Instagram. Simpkins is a 6-foot-5, 312-pound OL who played one year at South Carolina in 2024, after starting his career at North Carolina Central. He started all 13 games at right guard.
