His prowess on the field earned him a spot in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) All-Star Game, where he played for the Martha’s Vineyard Sharks in 2023, further solidifying his reputation as a rising star in the sport.
In 2022, Nawrocki committed to Clemson University, joining the Tigers’ baseball program. However, after redshirting in 2023, he transitioned into a part-time starting role in 2024. Over 36 games, he posted a .264 batting average with four home runs, 24 RBIs, and an impressive 11-for-11 record in stolen base attempts. Despite these contributions, Nawrocki felt that his potential was not fully realized at Clemson, prompting his decision to enter the transfer portal .
