Tennessee guard enters NCAA transfer portal
Tennessee fifth-year guard Darlinstone Dubar entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to Ben McKee of 247Sports.
“Tennessee basketball guard Darlinstone Dubar has entered the transfer portal,” McKee said. “Dubar does not currently have any eligibility left after playing his fifth season of college basketball with the Vols.”
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound guard appeared in 33 games, including one start, in his only season with the Vols. Dubar averaged 3.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game during the 2024-25 campaign at Tennessee.
He transferred to Tennessee from Hofstra ahead of the 2024-25 basketball season.
As a senior at Hofstra, Dubar was a Second-Team All-CAA performer. He appeared in all 33 of Hofstra’s games, averaging 17.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals per contest, while recording eight double-doubles.
Dubar played at Hofstra from 2021-24 after transferring from Iowa State. At Iowa State as a freshman, he appeared in 16 games and averaged 2.3 points and 2.4 rebounds per contest.
