He announced with pride and humility that he has been selected for the prestigious Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship with the Indianapolis Colts. “He was the first one in the facility and the last one out, even when nobody was watching,” said a college head coach who mentored him. “He didn’t do it for attention. He did it because he loves football and wants to be great at it.”

The Bill Walsh Diversity Fellowship does not guarantee future NFL employment. It’s designed to open doors—but the rest is up to the participant. Still, the experience alone is transformative.
